About me

I build the unglamorous backend that makes a business run

Full stack WordPress and Laravel developer specialising in scalable backend systems, technical SEO, WooCommerce, AI workflow automation and custom web applications.

Most agencies hand over a website. I hand over a working system.

My day job is heavy backend work — staff portals with role-based access and e-signature flows, HR and leave systems, booking engines, WooCommerce checkouts bent into shapes the plugin never intended, and server infrastructure that keeps all of it fast. That work is why clients come back rather than shop around.

How much does a project cost?

A focused marketing site typically starts in the low thousands; custom systems, portals and ecommerce builds are quoted against scope. I work to fixed prices agreed up front, so you are never surprised by an invoice.

How quickly can you start?

Small fixes and audits usually within a week. Full builds are scheduled — book a call and I will tell you my honest next availability rather than promising a date I cannot hold.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

Yes. I am UK based and work UK hours, but a good share of my work is international. Calls are scheduled in your timezone.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Frequently. I start with an audit covering security, performance, code quality and SEO, then give you a prioritised plan — including an honest answer on whether repairing or rebuilding is cheaper.

Who owns the code?

You do, on final payment. Everything is documented and standards-based so another developer can pick it up. No lock-in.

Do you offer ongoing support?
